About the event
Nuffield scholars travel the world to study the issues shaping agriculture, and then bring what they learn back home. The Nuffield Canada Global Knowledge Exchange is where they share it.
Join producers, industry leaders, researchers, and the Nuffield community for a day of practical ideas and big-picture thinking. Our scholars will present findings from their international studies on renewable energy and farmland, open-source technology, poultry manure management, and sustainable beef cattle systems. You’ll also hear from Nuffield alumni about where their journeys took them, and from Dr. Rene Van Acker, President of the University of Guelph, on pan-Canadian efforts in agricultural research.
The day ends with a reception, a chance to connect with speakers, scholars, alumni, and fellow attendees, and to welcome Nuffield Canada’s newest scholars.
